How Sponsorlist Apply uses your information

Information we process

• Account details: name, email address, authentication provider, role pathway, plan, and trial usage.
• Workspace content: CV text, job preferences, saved matches, cover letters, and application notes you choose to enter.
• Service and security data: sign-in events, IP/device information, error logs, and fraud-prevention records generated by our providers.
• Optional analytics data: page views, events, device/browser information, approximate location, and referral source when you accept analytics cookies.
• Payment data: Stripe processes card details. We receive subscription status and transaction references, not your full card number.

Most CV drafts and application workspace data are currently stored in your browser. Content sent for job matching or AI tailoring is processed to return the requested result and is not used by us to make immigration, employment, or credit decisions.

Why we use it and our lawful bases

We process account and workspace data because it is necessary to provide the service you request and manage your subscription. We use limited security and service-performance data for our legitimate interests in protecting and improving the service. We process billing records where necessary for contractual and legal obligations. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are used only where we have the required consent.

Service providers and international transfers

We use suppliers including Supabase for authentication/database services, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, Adzuna for job results, Google Analytics for optional usage analytics, and configured AI providers such as OpenAI or Google for paid CV-tailoring requests. These providers process data under their own security and privacy terms. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

Retention, cookies, and local storage

Account data is kept while your account is active and then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to legal, security, dispute, and financial-record obligations. Browser-stored CV and application data remains until you clear it or delete your account. Supplier logs and backups follow the relevant supplier retention schedule.

We use storage and session technologies needed for authentication, security, account state, and the workspace you request. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. We do not currently set advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy for controls.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Use the account controls or email us. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Automated recommendations and important limits

Match scores, sponsor signals, and AI-assisted drafting are recommendations designed to help you prioritise research and improve application materials. They are not legal advice, an immigration assessment, an employer decision, or a guarantee of sponsorship, visa eligibility, interview, or employment. Always verify the live vacancy, salary, occupation code, and employer licence using official sources before acting.

Children and changes

The service is intended for people aged 16 or over. We may update this notice as the service or law changes and will show the latest revision date here.
